The MGT 11 Octopus device is a state-of-the-art digital four-channel wired microphone system designed for ambient surveillance. It comes equipped with a USB recorder and top-notch encryption capabilities.
The system is comprised of a master device, known as the MGT 11-RX, and four Microphone Devices, identified as MGT 11-TX, which are connected via a twisted pair cable.
The digital audio is sampled at 16-bit 16KHz without any compression to preserve all sound quality.
We conducted tests on communication between a master and a single TX using a basic telephone twisted pair cable in an open space covering up to 400 meters.
