MGT 032–038 “Cardboard” — Covert Analogue Audio Transmitter
An analogue UHF micro-transmitter is discreetly concealed within a corrugated cardboard sheet for seamless audio monitoring. The sheet is approximately 4.5–5.0 mm thick, with the transmitter, antenna, microphone and lithium power cells integrated into the board to avoid visual cues. Operation uses a crystal-controlled, WFM radio channel for predictable performance.
The platform is configurable to mission preferences (frequency, output power and autonomy profiles). Reception can be achieved using scanning receivers in WFM and with specialised SET-1 receivers where available.
Main features
- Invisible concealment in common corrugated media.
- Optimised microphone for intelligible voice capture.
- Battery flexibility: multiple lithium coin-cell configurations to tune autonomy.
- Extended battery life across model range (up to 36 days).
- Quartz stabilisation for stable RF behaviour.
